As part of the upcoming 2013 edition of Ventura Lambrate, PADIGLIONEITALIA (the Italian Pavilion) has invited seventeen designers to consider food not just as a raw material, but also as a key element of the creative and productive process. The collective exhibition entitled FOODMADE, features designers and design studios including Whomade + Michela Milani, Leonardo Talarico, Antonio Aricò, Cristina Celestino, CTRLZAK, Gio Tirotto and Emanuele Magini.

Following MPDClick’s recent feature on ‘Food Play‘ for the Editor’s Quarterly Report, artist HaYoung Kim’s first solo exhibition, Eat All You Can, has caught our eye at the Hoxton Art Gallery in London. Playing with themes combining food matter and technology, the South Korean artist creates colourful culinary-inspired emoticons to represent our consuming relationship with technology.
