As we work to enrich our jewellery content here at MPDClick, we’re looking forward to future events on the international trade fair calendar that will do just that. First up, International Jewellery London set to take place at Earls Court on 2-5 September 2012.
Boasting more new exhibitors than ever before, over 100 designers have been added to their register for 2012. Paired with the bank of big-name brands returning for yet another year, the 57th edition of International Jewellery London will unveil the latest collections to cater to both a classic and contemporary consumer.
Event Director Sam Willoughby commented: “The show is already seen as an essential buying event in the calendar for top retailers and buyers, across London, the U.K. and internationally. Amazing designers and brands choose International Jewellery London as the time to launch their new collections and it provides an optimum opportunity to source with the busy Christmas period approaching, but also with 2013 in mind.”
Opening with a new luxurious look and feel for 2012, the event will also incorporate a designated ‘Watch Trail’ in and around the show to highlight watches as well as jewellery. Meanwhile, mirroring a theme that we are increasingly aware of across the trade fair landscape, KickStart will showcase a selection of the hottest new design talent hand-picked by the International Jewellery London team and the British Jewellers’ Association – an initiative that will undoubtedly shed light on some names to keep an eye on.
MPDClick will be providing in-depth coverage of the International Jewllery London for subscribers. In the mean time, keep checking the Trend Journal for growing coverage of innovative design talent within the jewellery sector, new names to look out for and the events at which to find them.
