Set to be released March 15th, Diane Von Furstenberg’s new collection for GAP Kids and Baby GAP embraces vintage Furstenberg prints, vibrant colours and even her signature wrap around dress; signifying a truly mini-me style for the collection.
Furstenberg has successfully brought key spring 12 trends to the kidswear market; showcasing simple silhouettes, playful prints and bright primary colours, the collaboration is already creating a buzz in the fashion industry. The collection adds an injection of New York style to GAP’s classic, ‘preppy’ designs whilst making sure products are suitable for the younger age range. Bow fastenings around the waist incorporate Furstenberg’s iconic wrap dress with statement prints also being predominant throughout including her famous leaf motifs.
Designed for new born babies and girls up to 14 years old, the range includes dresses, shorts, leggings, cropped trousers and staple t-shirts ensuring pieces are wardrobe essentials for summer 2012. Complementary shoes and accessories guarantees the collaboration will be very successful for both Furstenberg and GAP.
