With a host of performances from the likes of The Spice Girls and musical theatre group Stomp to a catwalk showcasing the best of British Fashion and a taste of the nation’s heritage of comedy, this was a night to be proud of and reflect upon the highly successful games, honouring Olympians, the organisers and volunteers as well as the supporting public who have never felt more patriotic.
