London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony: All Eyes Now Turn to Rio for 2016

Celebrating a total of 64 medals with 29 golds, 16 silvers and 19 bronze, resulting in 3rd position on the medal table behind China and the USA, the most triumphant Olympic games ever for Team GB came to a close with a bang last night as the Closing Ceremony presented an electrifying celebration of all things British. With a host of performances from the likes of The Spice Girls and musical theatre group Stomp to a catwalk showcasing the best of British Fashion and a taste of the nation’s heritage of comedy, this was a night to be proud of and reflect upon the highly successful games, honouring Olympians, the organisers and volunteers as well as the supporting public who have never felt more patriotic.
